Hand Knit Smartphone Mittens

I use wool that I dyed with natural dyes mixed with two strands of kid mohair for softness. The mittens have holes for your right (or left, let me know) index finger, and each thumb has a hole so you can use your smartphone without taking off and possibly losing your mittens.

We work out the color idea together from photographs of nature that I have. If you like the photo, I remember how the colors mixed in real life, and wind balls of constantly changing and blending colors that I use when I am knitting. Its always a surprise for me to see what colors come next. They always come out beautiful.

Its a full days work to knit a pair, and while I am knitting I think of the person who is getting the mittens, wishing them good health and happiness. A bit of magical warmth gets knit in... can't hurt, might help.
